Today was Breakfast & Books at Bell. Alivia invited Addison, Asher, and I in to read stories, eat some donut holes, drink some juice, all while reading her favorite stories for a half hour. It was fun, powered sugar donuts aside (what a mess!). Alivia was not herself as I read stories, and grew upset as the time neared for us to go. She was in tears by the time we left. It was really hard to leave her like that. I was just like her when I was a kid.
All in all, we had a good story time together. Next year, Daddy is coming, too!
