Playin' at the Park

What a beautiful day...at least until the wind picked up. After my morning run, Addison, Asher and I loaded up. We ran to the store before heading to the park. Yes, the park. Addison had to ask, "You mean outside?" Yes, outside. I heard the weather and thought we just had to get out.

We set out to Halleck Park in Papillion. Addison and Asher screamed as the went down the slides, teetered on the seesaw, and went swinging. After running out of steam there, we visited the nearby pond, watching the geese and fishermen. The weather was just fabulous.

After walking to pick up Alivia and her friends after their afternoon nap, Addi and Asher wanted to go back to the scary park (Halleck Park was named the scary park for its scary slide. Funny, this year it was not so scary for them. Although Asher came done and landed on his head once). So, we loaded up the 5 kiddos and set out to the park again.

But wait, what happened to the beautiful day? It was freezing and windy. The kids did manage to make it 45 minutes longer than me playing and running around. I guess it is good for them, and it was good for me to get them out of the house.

Is it spring yet?
