Mmmmm! Auntie Marsha made these for us when we were in great need of comfort food. It is such a heart healthy snack for kids and for us. Enjoy!!
3 TBSP honey
2 TBSP Margarine
3 TBSP peanut butter
4 cups chex cereal (assorted wheat, rice and corn)
2 cups pretzels
1/3 cup dry-roasted peanuts (we omitted this ingredient because our family is picky).
1. Preheat over to 175F
2. Combine honey, marg, PB in microwave save bowl. Heat until smooth. Combine cereal, pretzels and nuts. Pour PB mix over cereal and toss to coat. Spread on baking sheet and bake 1 ½ hours. Makes 6 cups. Yummy!
