What's In a Value Pack?

It seems a value pack is not what it used to be.

I buy Parent's Choice (Walmart) Diapers. We are members of  Consumer Reports, and these diapers appeared to get good ratings. So, I started getting them about the time Asher was born. Okay, they are nothing special. Elmo is not plastered all over them. But, these diapers work well! We have rarely had leaks from baby to busy toddler. When we do have a leak, it is because we would put off changing the diaper because we were busy or something (but we have never had a problem at night). I was buying a large box of 92 diapers for just under $14 for a box of size 4 or the same price for a box of 104 diapers in size 3's.

Well, 2 weeks ago when I went to get diapers, the box got smaller, but the price stayed the same. The box of 3's - now down to 96 diapers (from 104) while the box of 4's is down to 82 diapers (from 92). Now, if you are going to drop some 10 diapers in the size 4's - you better drop the price. The box is so much smaller, there is no way consumers were just not going to notice that! I went back to the size 3's which are working just fine for now.

So, I guess the cost of Asher going potty has just gone up.
