Chris loves to host family and friends. We do not do it enough, however. Tonight we hosted his family to a cookout with Chris' specialties: chicken breasts, HUGE hotdogs, and his spicy grilled corn on the cob (yummy!). It was fun to see everyone between birthday parties and Holidays, just for no reason but to eat. Chris, of course, added his bit of humor saying that we had an "announcement to make." I wondered what he had up his sleeve. Well, he had nothing...he just wanted to see what his family's reaction would be. He says their faces were priceless (assuming that the announcement was that we were adding to our family)!
Oh, and we had to try out our replacement patio set, too! A perfect night to begin the end of summer.
