Asher escaped from his crib this morning. Now for the play by play.
Asher awoke this morning and was talking in his crib & playing. So, I decided to get Addison up first while Asher played. After getting Addison dressed, Alivia called help from our room (she and Piper our cat were in our wicker clothes hamper. Alivia had gotten them in but could not get out!). After Addi & I helped them out, I heard a loud thud in Asher's room. I ran to his room and found him OUTSIDE of his crib on the floor flat on his back crying! I picked him up and he looked at me and smiled (This is one way to wake up Daddy in a hurry!). Um, how did he do that? He is crawling, but we did not know he could pull to a stand, lean over and fall over the crib! (See the picture of Asher in the crib on his belly and see if you can see how he pulled off this amazing escape). We seriously have no idea how he "escaped," but we are so lucky he did not get hurt. Needless to say, Asher's crib is on the lowest level possible now & is going to be relocated in his room away from the shutters. If he gets out of his crib now, we are in serious trouble!
And all of this even before breakfast.
