After Alivia got home from school yesterday, we packed up and went to visit the forest. The weather was sketchy at best. It was sunny, then it was cloudy with a threat of rain. Whatever...let's just go for it!
The kids checked out the basement area quick before we went outside to see the forest in bloom. It was so pretty to see color in the forest after visiting the dead looking forest all winter. It looked beautiful! The kids played in the Acorn Acres area for a while before the wind picked up and sprinkles started. We went back inside to play and learn downstairs before coming home for dinner.
Fun family night plus one (Zoe came along). I think we may just have to do that more often. Next time we will hit the trails!
