Before pictures from Asher's room
Above are the after pictures of the hole with new shutters. We love them! It keeps his room quieter and warmer. Also, it will prevent (in the future) the possibility of big items being thrown threw the hole. We are going to install a shutter lock at the top so they can not be opened by the kids to prevent falls. This was the best solution to the hole problem without losing the architectural component that we liked about our home. Better late than never...but we will enjoy these shutters for a long time.
