Last week the kids got Boo'd. Remember last year when we started it? What is a Boo Gram exactly, you may ask? It is the Halloween version of a secret Santa.
To start a BOO gram, a neighbor secretly leaves a treat bag or basket, a BOO poem, BOO instructions and a BOO sign at a neighbor's
doorstep. The one boo'd is then to post the BOO sign near their front door, informing others that "We've been Boo'd!" That way, the Boo is passed through the neighborhood and not duplicated. The one who was boo'd is to BOO at least other two other households, leaving to a neighborhood full of Halloween fun.
Anyway, we were Boo'd, so we in turn got to spread the Boo fun this year. I just used what I had on hand, some Halloween candy, some spider and other Halloween rings, and a mix of Halloween popcorn from Just Pop'd in Papillion. After our Saturday night movie, we loaded up and went to BOO 4 households. Okay, so I allowed each kid to select a friend. Addison, being Addison, could not choose just one friend and selected 2 friends. We BOO'd 10 kiddos in all. The kids had fun booing, too. It is a fun tradition, and I am glad others are keeping it going!
So, get out there and say BOO!
