The first one for this week is for Amish White Bread. If you have ever been to Great Harvest Bread in Omaha, this bread is pretty close to that! Chris and I give this recipe 5 out of 5 stars. It is wonderful! Now, my oven is not the best, so I had to lower the over shelf to practically the bottom so that the bread would not burn, but the bread itself tastes amazing!

Next, I am trying to find Crock pot recipes that my family will eat. Mr. Picky, aka Chris, does not like much in the way of things made in a crock pot. However, when I came across a recipe for Beer Crockpot Chicken, I thought I may have a winner. It was so easy and good! Chris gave this 4 out of 5 stars. But, I may have had it in the crockpot too long as I thawed the chicken a little before cooking it. Now, for the recipe: Beer Crockpot Chicken: Chicken legs, whole chicken, thighs, whatever little chicken parts you want along with a can of beer and a mix of your favorite spices: garlic, basil, paprika, pepper, salt. "*You can use whatever spices you like
Dessert from Pinterst and Pantry Dreams (http://pantrydreams.blogspot.com). Chocolate Chocolate BrowniesChocolate Chocolate Brownies1 cup butter, melted 3 cups sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract 4 eggs 1 1/2 cups flour 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 1/2 tsp salt 1 cup+ semi-sweet chocolate chips (Put some of the chocolate chips on top, which I did not do). Preheat oven to 350˚ F. Grease 9x13 baking dish (I use glass). In a large bowl, combine melted butter and sugar. Add in vanilla extract and eggs. Mix until completely combined. In a smaller bowl, mix together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Add to the butter mixture. Mix well. Stir in 1 cup chocolate chips. Pour into prepared pan and flatten into an even layer. Sprinkle with more chocolate chips and give them a light tap to make sure they stick to the batter. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the edges are crispy and the center doesn't jiggle (I find that the toothpick trick doesn't really work here because the center will still be slightly gooey until fully cooled). Cool for about 6-8 hours before cutting because if you don't, you will have a huge gooey mess. I like to bake these before I go to bed so they can coll overnight. Not that I eat one for breakfast or anything like that... Source: Adapted from Allrecipes |

Man, those look so yummy! Darn gluten, I can't have any of them. We live off of crockpot cooking! It's how dinner gets to the table, almost every day! I can't wait to see what you find! (PS I have even slow cooked brats and hotdogs before! Anything goes in the crock pot!)
I know I know. I have a couple gluten free ones I will post too, and some crafts. :)
Oh, I can't wait! :)
