Although it is hard to make our way to Iowa to visit them, we need to try more often. It was nice to see them, catch up, and to share some cupcakes with them, too.

Happy Birthday Grandpa Harold
On Friday after school, we loaded the kiddos up and went to visit Grandpa Harold to help him celebrate his 87th birthday! We arrived at their home to a greeting from the locals, turkeys. Crazy to see so many turkeys in backyards! We chatted with Grandma and Grandpa, the kids ate, we chatted some more, the kids chased the turkeys. It was a nice visit.

What a beautiful black and white photo of them! You are so blessed to have your grandparents. How wonderful that your kids get to know them too. What a gift
