A Nebraska Safari

Chris had not taken a Safari with us in a few years, so Sunday turned out to be the day! We got up and got to Mass at 9 so we could make our way to Gretna the Safari.

It was crowded, but not overcrowded. The weather was hot, but not too hot. Perfect for driving through, seeing the animals, taking in the sights of the safari, taking short hikes, seeing and petting animals at the petting zoo, and a picnic. The kids like being able to see and hear the animals from right outside the car...it is so fun!

It was a peaceful afternoon spent as a family. We need to have more afternoons like that.
